Niigaanwewidam James Sinclair
Niigaan Sinclair is Anishinaabe from Peguis First Nation and a professor at the University of Manitoba, where he holds the Faculty of Arts Professorship in Indigenous Knowledge and Aesthetics in the Department of Indigenous Studies. Niigaan is a multiple nominee of Canadian columnist of the year (winning in 2018) and won the 2019 Peace Educator of the Year from the Peace and Justice Studies Association based at Georgetown University in Washington, DC.
Adam D.K. King
Adam is currently assistant professor in the Labour Studies Program at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Treaty 1 territory and the homeland of the Métis Nation. Prior to joining Labour Studies, he was a social and economy policy researcher in the labour movement.
His research broadly addresses the regulation of labour and employment. He has published articles and book chapters on the politics and social consequences of deindustrialization, employment standards enforcement, union organizing, and labour market policy.
He also writes a weekly newsletter at The Maple called “Class Struggle” about labour, unions, and social policy. You can sign up to receive copies and read past issues here.

Niall Harney
Niall is a Senior Economist at the Manitoba Office of the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives. His research focuses on labour markets, income inequality, public finance, and political economy. Prior to joining the CCPA-MB Niall worked as a research analyst with non-profits and social enterprises across the country, and as an organizer with the Canadian Federation of Students.
