So much that defines Winnipeg, its achievements and its rebellious core, was forged on Bloody Saturday.
Please join us Friday, June 21, 2019 at 9pm in Pantages Plaza on Main Street at Market Avenue for the public opening of Bloody Saturday, a new public artwork by Bernie Miller and Noam Gonick.
Bloody Saturday was commissioned by the Winnipeg Arts Council through Winnipeg’s Public Art Program, with participation from the Government of Canada, CentreVenture, The Manitoba Federation of Labour and Manitoba’s Unions, the Winnipeg Foundation, Amalgamated Transit Union Local 1505, IATSE 856 and private donors. Hope to see you there!
